Profile

Tap the space where you see your name and phone number to open your Profile. Here, you can review your account’s key details, including your phone number, extension number, fax number, email address, and information about the device on which the app is installed.

This section is where you will change your Ooma Office password or log out of Ooma Office Mobile.

Do Not Disturb

Use this switch to toggle DND mode on and off for your device. When DND mode is enabled, it will prevent incoming calls and notifications to your device. You can choose how long before DND automatically turns off, or you can keep it on indefinitely. Keep in mind that all other devices assigned to your account will still ring.

Vote On Next Features

Tap this option to submit suggestions for potential new features you’d like to see in the Ooma Office Mobile app. You can also view and vote on feature requests submitted by other users.

Calling

Use this section to update the calling preferences when you use the app:

  • Calling Mode lets you toggle between calling with VoIP or with your phone’s Cellular network.

  • Call Handling lets you configure how your devices manage incoming calls. You can learn more about call handling options in Ooma Office in this article.

  • Outgoing Caller-ID lets you select which Caller-ID will display for your outgoing call, including the option to make calls anonymously.

Voicemail

Use this section to update your account’s voicemail settings.

  • Tap Voicemail Greeting to update your voicemail’s greeting message. You can choose from three different options:

    • Default will use a preset greeting determined by the system.
    • Text-To-Speech lets you type custom greeting text that will be spoken by Ooma’s text-to-speech system.

    • Tap Enter Greeting to go to a window where you’ll be able to enter text. You can also use the Voice option to choose a voice option.

    • Custom Recording lets you choose from a few other options. You can record a new greeting in your own voice by speaking into your phone. You can upload a new audio file that will act as your greeting, or you can select an existing file that has already been uploaded.

    • Tap Forward to my email to toggle email forwarding on or off. When email forwarding is enabled, you’ll receive an email with the audio file attached each time someone leaves you a voicemail.
    • Tap Call my Voicemail to dial your extension’s voicemail box.

Notifications

Use this section to customize which message push notifications Ooma Office will send to your device:

When notifications are enabled, an additional toggle switch will appear to let you choose whether you’ll get notifications for messages sent by co-workers in response to messages you’ve received in your shared inboxes.

Sounds

This section lets you set up the ringtones and notification sounds used by the Ooma app:

  • Ringtone lets you select the ringtone for incoming Ooma calls.

  • Notification sound lets you select the notification sound for all the Ooma push notifications.

  • Haptics lets you toggle vibration to notify you of incoming calls or notifications.

Languages

This section lets you choose which of your device’s supported languages will be the Ooma Office Mobile app’s main language.

Verify push notifications

Use this option to test push notifications from Ooma. When you ta, you should see a push notification with its round trip time.
