Ooma Office and Ooma Telo on the Same Network
The Ooma Office system is flexible enough to run on the same network as an Ooma Telo or Hub setup with only a few minor modifications to the initial setup. You can either choose to plug one system into your modem and the other into your router, or you can connect both systems to different ports in your router.
Keep in mind when you are determining your preferred setup that the system that is connected closer to your Internet connection will receive absolute call quality priority.
A dual system setup allows both the Ooma Telo and the Grandstream ATA device or the Ooma Office Base Station to be used simultaneously as long as your Internet connection is robust enough to support the bandwidth required. Ooma Office requires approximately 90 kb/s of bandwidth per call, while the Ooma Telo requires 40 kb/s of bandwidth.
