If you’ve been invited to an Ooma Meeting, you can join in any of the ways listed in this article.

Keep in mind that if you’re early and the meeting’s host hasn’t enabled the option to allow guests to start the meeting before they arrive, you will need to wait for the host.

Web browser

If you’d like to use a web browser, first make sure that the browser you’d like to use is supported. Once you have confirmed this, follow these instructions:

  1. Use the link that was provided in your invitation or navigate to meetings.ooma.com and type in the meeting ID that was included in the invitation you received. You may need to type in a password, which you can also find in the meeting invitation. NOTE: If you have already downloaded the Ooma Meetings desktop application, you may be asked whether you would prefer to join the meeting using the app. If you choose to move forward with the Ooma Meetings desktop application, go to Step 2 in the Ooma Meetings desktop application section below.
  2. Enter your display name and select your microphone and video settings.
  3. Select JOIN MEETING to move into the meeting room.

Ooma Meetings desktop app

If you haven’t already done so, visit the download page to download the Ooma Meetings app. Once the program is installed, you can follow these instructions to join a meeting:

  1. Select Join Meeting and type the meeting ID that was included in your invitation. You may need to type in a password, which you can find in the meeting invitation.
  2. Enter your display name and select your microphone and video settings.
  3. Select JOIN MEETING to move into the meeting room.

Ooma Office desptop app

If you are an Ooma Office Pro or Pro+ customer, you can join a meeting right from the Ooma Office desktop application. If you haven’t already done so, visit the download page to download the Ooma Office app. Once the program is installed, you can follow these instructions to join a meeting:

  1. Log in with your Ooma Office credentials.
  2. Navigate to the meetings section.
  3. Find the meeting you’d like to join in the Scheduled tab and use the Join button. Alternatively, you can choose Join Meeting from the New dropdown menu and type in the meeting ID. You may need to type in a password, which you can find in the meeting invitation you received.
  4. Enter your display name and select your microphone and video settings.
  5. Select JOIN MEETING to move into the meeting room.

When you tap a link to accept an invite to an Ooma Meeting, you will be redirected to a page to open the app. There will also be a link to help you download the Ooma Meetings app if you haven’t already.

Tap the link to open the meeting in the app, then choose your display name and select your microphone and video settings. Tap Join Meeting.

From the Ooma Meetings app

To join a meeting directly from the app, open the Ooma Mobile app on your device. You will see the Join Meeting page. Type in the meeting ID and tap Join Meeting.

Dial in from an iOS or Android smartphone

If you’re using an iOS or Android smartphone, you can dial into the meeting simply by tapping the link included in your invitation. The link will automatically navigate all menus and will input all the necessary information.

From the Ooma Meetings app

To join a meeting directly from the app, open the Ooma Mobile app on your device. You will see the Join Meeting page. Type in the meeting ID and select Join Meeting. On the following screen, you will see links at the bottom of the screen to dial in to the meeting. Tap the link that corresponds to the country you’re in (US or Canada).

Dial in from a landline

If you are using a landline to dial into the meeting, you can call one of the following numbers depending on your location:

  • United States: 1-650-665-6338 (1-650-665-MEET)
  • Canada: 1-438-814-6338 (1-438-814-MEET)

You will be prompted to enter the Meeting ID and then Meeting Passcode, both of which are available in the meeting invitation.
