How to add users to your Ooma Office account in bulk
You can bulk import new users to your Ooma Office account by following these steps:
- Log in to office.ooma.com as an administrator .
- Use the Add button to choose Bulk User Import. You will be able to Download the template.
- Use Numbers or Excel to open the CSV template once it’s downloaded. You can fill in the spreadsheet and save your changes. IMPORTANT: Be sure to save your file as a CSV file using Export (Numbers) or Save As (Excel).
- Return to Ooma Office and Attach the updated CSV so you can Upload it.
- Click Done to complete this step of the import process.
- Ooma will validate your CSV and create a summary of the import to show the number of new users that were created and any errors that may have occurred. You can Download a more detailed summary.
- When you’re finished, use the Done button to complete the process.
A few things to keep in mind while you’re working with Numbers or Excel:
- The column headings must be in the top row, so don’t replace them with anything else.
- You must save your files in in the CSV format. If you are using Numbers application on Mac, use “Export” operation; if you are using Excel, use “Save As” operation.
- You may want to try importing a CSV with just a few users to see whether you are satisfied with the results. If you are happy, you can expand your file to the remaining useres.
