You can bulk import new users to your Ooma Office account by following these steps:

  1. Log in to office.ooma.com as an administrator .
  2. Use the Add button to choose Bulk User Import. You will be able to Download the template.
  3. Use Numbers or Excel to open the CSV template once it’s downloaded. You can fill in the spreadsheet and save your changes. IMPORTANT: Be sure to save your file as a CSV file using Export (Numbers) or Save As (Excel).
  4. Return to Ooma Office and Attach the updated CSV so you can Upload it.
  5. Click Done to complete this step of the import process.
  6. Ooma will validate your CSV and create a summary of the import to show the number of new users that were created and any errors that may have occurred. You can Download a more detailed summary.
  7. When you’re finished, use the Done button to complete the process.

A few things to keep in mind while you’re working with Numbers or Excel:

  • The column headings must be in the top row, so don’t replace them with anything else.
  • You must save your files in in the CSV format. If you are using Numbers application on Mac, use “Export” operation; if you are using Excel, use “Save As” operation.
  • You may want to try importing a CSV with just a few users to see whether you are satisfied with the results. If you are happy, you can expand your file to the remaining useres.
