If you don’t have a way to connect your Ooma IP phone to the office Ethernet using a hardwired cable, you may need to enter your office’s Wi-Fi credentials in your Ooma IP phone by hand. Find your model of Ooma IP phone below and then follow the corresponding instructions to get started.

Ooma 2602W

  1. Navigate to the Settings menu
  2. Select Wi-Fi Settings
  3. Set Wi-Fi to Enabled and save your settings
  4. Select Wi-Fi Network to have the phone scan for all available Wi-Fi networks within the phone’s range
  5. Choose your network from the list of available networks
  6. Use your phone’s keyboard to enter the Wi-Fi network’s password. You will need to do this by using a multi-tap approach with the phone’s softkeys and physical keypad to toggle between uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and alphanumeric characters.

Ooma 2615W, Ooma 2624W

  1. Navigate to the System menu
  2. Select Wi-Fi Settings
  3. Set Wi-Fi to Enabled and save your settings
  4. Select Scan to have the phone scan for all available Wi-Fi networks within the phone’s range
  5. Choose your network from the list of available networks
  6. Use your phone’s keyboard to enter the Wi-Fi network’s password. You will need to do this by using a multi-tap approach with the phone’s softkeys and physical keypad to toggle between uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and alphanumeric characters.

Ooma WP810 cordless phone

  1. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the Settings menu
  2. Select Network
  3. Select Wi-Fi Networks
  4. Choose your network from the list of available networks displayed on your screen
  5. Use your phone’s keyboard to enter the Wi-Fi network’s password. You will need to do this by using a multi-tap approach with the phone’s physical keypad to toggle between uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and alphanumeric characters. You can get back the numeric keyboard by pressing 1. To return to the alphanumeric keyboard, press #.
