You can change the grace period that will elapse before professional monitoring intervention is triggered by following these instructions:

  1. Log into the Ooma Smart Security app.
  2. Open the More menu.
  3. Tap Professional Monitoring.
  4. Locate the Grace Period field and update it with your preferred timing.

A shorter grace period may result in you receiving more calls from the professional monitoring team. If you do not answer the phone or cannot provide the password, emergency services will be dispatched to the address on file. Please keep in mind that many municipalities reserve the right to fine the home owner in the event of excessive false alarms.
