What are my choices for business phone service and how much do they cost?
You can choose from two options:
- Ooma Business Phone has baseline features. The only applicable charge to using Ooma Business Phone are the metered (per minute) calling rates.
- Ooma Business Pro Phone is just $29.95 USD per month per user, plus taxes and fees. It includes unlimited calling in North America and provides 35+ features.
Where can I find a comparison of the features for both plans?
You can learn more by reviewing our phone service comparison datasheet and our feature brochure.
How long does it take to activate either service?
Activating either service can be completed in days. You can begin to use your new phone service through the mobile and/or desktop app right away after you receive the confirmation emails from Ooma. If you purchased phones, you will typically receive them 3-5 business days after the order is received by Ooma.
How long does it take to set up either service?
Setting up either service is as easy as downloading the mobile and/or desktop apps. Once you’ve done that, you can log in with the credentials provided in your welcome email to start using the service. Pro users can set up advanced features. Setting up those features takes only a few minutes within Ooma Office Manager.
Can I transfer my phone number?
When you select Ooma Business Pro Phone, in most areas you can port your existing phone number for free. You must maintain the current phone service until the porting process is completed, which usually takes 1-2 weeks. Initiating the transfer/porting process is done through Ooma Office Manager.
Do you support 911 calls?
Yes. Ooma collects your address when you activate online and uses this information for emergency response situations.
