With more than one business phone number, it becomes possible to fine-tune and customize your telephone setup. Additional phone numbers can be used to give your employees direct extensions, to give high-volume ring groups such as Support and Billing their own numbers, to map multiple area codes to the virtual receptionist, and more.

Ooma Office comes with a complimentary phone number, and each user extension comes bundled with an additional phone number. Virtual fax and conference server extensions also each come wtih their own dedicated phone numbers.

If you find that you need additional numbers then you can add them for a monthly fee of just $9.95 for US users or CAD $14.95 for Canadian users, plus applicable tax and fees. You can have up to 20 phone numbers, giving you plenty of flexibility to set up your Ooma Office in the way that works best for your company.

You can add new phone numbers to your Ooma Office setup by following these instructions:

  1. Log into your Ooma Office Manager at http://office.ooma.com and navigate to “Numbers” under the “Manage” tab
  2. Click “+Add Number:”

  3. Choose the area code of the phone number to which you would like to assign the phone number.

  4. Select a city from the “Select a City drop-down menu,” and then click “Search.”

  5. Select a phone number on the screen that is displayed.
  6. Select the extension to which you would like to associate the new phone number, and then click “Confirm:”
