You should find the following equipment in the box of your Ooma Telo Handset:

  • A charging cradle
  • A battery pack

How do I set up my Ooma Telo Handset?

To set up your Ooma Telo Handset, simply slide open the battery compartment, place the battery in the opening, and insert the battery plug connector. Replace the battery compartment lid and plug the power supply into the back of the charging cradle. Ooma recommends that you charge the battery for 10 hours before first use. When the Telo Handset is charging, a blue light on the front of the cradle should light up. How do I sync my Ooma Telo Handset with my Ooma Telo?

To register your Ooma Telo Handset, first visit https://my.ooma.com/account/services to retrieve the PIN number for you Ooma Telo. Note that you may need to log into your My Ooma account when you visit this webpage. Next, bring the handset close to the Ooma Telo and press the page key on the front panel of the Ooma Telo for 3 seconds. The key should start flashing rapidly as the Telo searches for new handsets. Within a few seconds, you should hear the handset beep and prompt you to enter a PIN number. Enter the PIN found at the website above and press OK. The handset will notify you when it has finished registering. The first time you register a handset, it may need to download new software. Ooma recommends that you place the handset in the charging cradle while the handset is loading the software upgrade.

How many Ooma Telo Handsets can I use with my Ooma Telo?

You can register up to four Ooma Telo Handsets with a single Ooma Telo device. If you find that you need additional telephones, you may wish to visit the setting up your Ooma Telo FAQ to review your options for hooking up additional telephones to your Ooma Telo.

Can I use Ooma Telo Handsets and a regular telephone with my Ooma Telo?

How long does it take to charge my Ooma Telo Handset?
